Our Parent and Child program offers parents insight and practical tools for the task of raising healthy, balanced children. It also provides a unique opportunity for parents to be with their young children to experience Waldorf education while immersed in a Waldorf early childhood setting – a beautiful and peaceful space where children feel comfortable and secure and can explore their environment while touching base with their parent when the need arises.
Activities like baking or bread making, a circle of singing, verses and movement games and a puppet play or story time are woven into the morning with an easy rhythmic flow, providing a rich space for creative free play for the young child which enhances their mental, physical, and emotional development. This gives the parents an opportunity to meet other families, engage in special projects or make beautiful crafts, learn about and discuss child development and be supported in parenting. The children see the adults engaged in meaningful activities while parents have an opportunity to observe the children at play.
This educational Waldorf program runs on Friday mornings and is very popular with sessions filling quickly so please register early.
