Nesters Grocery Orders – It doesn’t cost you a cent!

Last school year we earned about $2,500 through this simple fundraiser thanks to a small group of committed parents. This year we have more than 60 families in the school. If each family bought $200 a month for a year we would raise $14,400. If only 30 families each bought $500 a month that would translate into $18,000 for the coming school year. Think about the amazing things that could be done with that kind of fundraising!

Here’s how it works…

• CVWS receives 10% of the money from your purchase and it won’t cost you a thing! Parents, friends and family are all invited to purchase cards from Nesters Market through the office at face value – dollar for dollar – and Nesters donates 10%.
• Cards do not expire.
• They can be used at any Nesters Market or Buy Low Foods.
• If you lose your card(s) it cannot be replaced. Treat it like cash.
• You may buy cards in $10, $25, $50 and $100 denominations. As these cards are plastic and not reusable (once they are empty they are garbage). We recommend you buy the highest denominations available according to your order. For example, a $750 order would be 7x$100 and 1x$50. Cash is accepted and cheques should be made payable to Cedar Valley Waldorf School (not CVWS).
• You can buy them one time or as often as you like. We will be taking orders every two weeks (but not over holidays).
• You can have a standing order so that the initial outlay will only affect your cash flow the first time. Post-dated cheques for every order or every other order are welcomed.
• We will take special orders outside of regular order periods for those who are interested in making a large purchase ($1,000 or more).

We understand that some families collect points or miles by using a credit card, which can be a disincentive to participate in a fundraiser like this. We get it! However, if you have ever considered donating your points/miles to a charity this is exactly the same thing – but without the hassle of formally making the donation.

Lovable Labels

Cedar Valley Waldorf School has teamed up with Lovable Labels to provide parents an opportunity to purchase quality personalized labels while supporting the school. Lovable Labels are extra tough, colourful and fun labels available in stickers, iron-ons, shoe labels, bag tags and medical wristbands. They are laundry, dishwasher and microwave safe. Twenty per cent of every sale will go towards the school so please share this with your friends and family!
