As an Independent School registered with the Ministry of Education, Cedar Valley Waldorf School must fulfill all the curriculum requirements set by the Ministry of Education. Children learn the same fundamentals plus they receive enrichment in music, art, nature studies, science, mathematics and motor skills development.

Yes, to receive partial funding from the Ministry of Education all teachers must be B.C. certified.

At Cedar Valley Waldorf School we strive to keep it affordable for each family. Because we meet all Ministry of Education requirements. the school receives 50% of the ‘per child’ funding that a public school receives. The difference is made up by tuition fundraising and donations. No school aged child will be turned away for financial reasons.
